About the Role
Essity North America Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking a Plant Controller who will be a business partner to the stakeholders and lead the senior leadership team through various financial controls, annual budgeting, & quarterly forecasting. We're looking for people who embody our values, aren't afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace.
This is an onsite role, and the ideal candidate should live in the Manchester, CT area or is willing to relocate.
What You Will Do
- Business partner and consultant for senior leadership team regarding all financial issues;
- Functional manager of the controlling functions for the manufacturing site;
- Partner with other PS Medical controllers and financial functions within the company;
- Responsible for driving budget, forecasting, and AP-process;
- Set up monthly final account for the manufacturing site according to local statutory and Essity PC’s instructions and guidelines;
- Capex support and follow-up while taking ownership of site assets regarding content and valuation;
- Project follow-up for building and equipment;
- Continuously analyze deviations of financial performance and support actions to improve financial results;
- Follow controlling standards and other Essity policies such as MICR and legal regulations;
- Ensure that accounting and reporting rules are being maintained and followed;
- Implement SAP CO in the manufacturing site;
- Additional responsibilities as required.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Economics;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing controlling experience;
- Sage100 experience preferred;
- Self-starter with a strategic mindset working independently while multi-tasking;
- Strong knowledge of production processes and operations;
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills;

Compensation and Benefits:
Expected Compensation:
$95,000 - $135,000 annual salary range + annual incentive bonus + benefits.
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
